The Center for Reproductive Biology of Indiana is inspected and accredited by COLLEGE OF
AMERICAN PATHOLOGISTS (CAP) every two years, in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) standards. It is registered with, and inspected by, the FDA. We adhere to the guidelines set forth in our field by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and submit the outcomes of all our IVF cycles to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) for annual reporting.
Our staff is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as technical supervisors (TS), general supervisors (GS), or laboratory scientists (LS) in the specialties of andrology and/or embryology. Lab members are required to have significant experience in assisted reproductive technology (ART) and must pass a written examination on their specialty. In addition, they participate in continuing education opportunities locally and nationally to attain and maintain these certifications. This is a voluntary accreditation which CRBI supports to further the ongoing education and professionalism of our IVF staff.
Jaime Hogerty, Ph.D., serves as our laboratory director. She is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as a High-complexity Clinical Lab Director (HCLD), an Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD), and as a Clinical Consultant (CC).
The CRBI Staff participates in the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) Proficiency Testing Services every year. And the CRBI staff are all members of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
